Habeas Corpus

 

Habeas corpus is legal action, through which a prisoner can be released from unlawful detention. The remedy can be sought by the prisoner or by another person coming to his aid. Click to view APA’s Habeas Corpus

 

 

 

Under the Australian Constitution, laws cannot be made by councils, police, parliament etc. without our consent. This has in fact been happening for years and we must put an end to it. To change the Constitution we must have a Referendum as we did in 1999 when we voted against the Republic.

 

 

Bill of Rights

The Bill of Rights was passed by Parliament on 16 December 1689.
